Feelin' Lucky, Punk?

As Spring gusts begin to replace the brisk New York Winter air, we will be heating things up with a High-Stakes game of Texas Hold 'Em! The Manhattan Penthouse has teamed up with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training to present the first annual "Charity Poker Showdown". 

Seats at the tables go for an original buy-in of $150, with re-buys (first hour) and add-ons (end of first hour) going at the same rate. Players will be free to indulge in an open bar and catering provided by our own Green Mansions Catering. If cards aren't your cup of tea but you'd still like to attend, there is  another option to get involved as well (per the event's website, charitypokershowdown.net): 

"Don’t want to ante-up for the tournament? Join the fun at our “party brunch” with access to the open bar, good grub and spins of DJ Neil Jackson with a chance to enter and win a variety of raffle prizes. For $55, this will be the most fun you’ll have that week, and you’ll help LLS move closer to finding a cure for blood cancers!"

Helping out the LLS is more than enough reason to get involved, but there's more! Players will be facing off for an incredible top prize including:

• Two Round trip tickets from NYC to Las Vegas
• Two nights hotel
• 2 Tickets to Beatles Love Cirque Du Soleil Insider Access
• Helicopter Tour for Two over the Grand Canyon courtesy of Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters

Other top prizes include a trip for two to Miami, a Paradigm Millenia Home Theater system, and a ton of great raffle and door prizes. Tickets can be bought upon the event's website, and more information can be found upon their Facebook page.
