A Message from the Owner/President of Green Mansions Catering, Sam Milliken
WE'RE CELEBRATING BY GIVING!
In this our 40th year of business we are celebrating by
taking opportunities to give back to the community.
This Sunday, February 3, we will be hosting a charity event
for Brides Against Breast Cancer at our Manhattan Penthouse on Fifth Avenue (80 Fifth Avenue ) as
part of our outreach to the community in celebration of our company's 40th year
in business. We're so glad that this event is finally here, being that it has already once been rescheduled due to Superstorm Sandy. Brides are invited to shop a vast assortment of wedding
dresses that have been donated to the organization by stores, designers,
and former brides. Tickets are required so be sure to check out their website and Facebook page. In addition, various wedding vendors will be on hand to
introduce their products and services. We will serve Mimosas and Quiche
for the first two hours, starting promptly at 11 am.
In addition to the BABC event, this Friday we are catering a charity event for Village Care of
New York. Later in the winter, we will be donating our beautiful space at Manhattan Penthouse for a
Leukemia Society fund-raiser and our space at the Alger House for The Wedding Academy event hosted by AfterIDo.net. Last Friday I gave my wife a birthday
party at Manhattan Penthouse where friends brought donations to the Soldier
Sailors Marines Airmen and Coast Guard Club in lieu of gifts. We
collected over seven thousand dollars for servicemen! Thank you to all those that attended and were able to make a donation!
